About This Role
DBEStudios is looking for a World Builder to help expand and document the fictional universe of Planet X and other DBE properties. You will develop the history, geography, cultures, languages, and systems that underpin the DBE universe — ensuring consistency and depth across all media.
- Develop and document the history, cultures, and geography of the Planet X Universe
- Create world-building bibles, lore documents, and reference guides
- Establish and maintain consistency in the DBE universe across books, films, and comics
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and directors on universe expansion
- Research real-world cultures, history, and science to inform world-building
Qualifications
- Strong creative writing and analytical skills
- Experience in world-building for fiction, games, or entertainment
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing complex lore
- Deep passion for speculative fiction and multicultural storytelling
Nice to Have- Published fiction or game writing with significant world-building
- Familiarity with the Planet X Universe
