About This Role
DBE Films & Television is looking for talented Screenwriters to adapt DBEBooks properties for screen and develop original stories set in the DBE universe. You will bring the Planet X Universe and other DBE IP to life in screenplay format.
- Write and develop feature film and television scripts for DBE properties
- Adapt existing DBEBooks novels and stories for screen
- Develop original story concepts within the DBE universe
- Work with producers and directors through multiple drafts
- Write treatments, pitch documents, and story outlines
Qualifications
- Proven screenwriting experience with a portfolio of original scripts
- Strong understanding of screenplay format, structure, and craft
- Ability to adapt existing source material
- Passion for multicultural storytelling and diverse narratives
Nice to Have- Produced credits in film or television
- Experience with science fiction, action, or drama
- Familiarity with the Planet X Universe
