About This Role
DBEStudios is seeking a Realistic Artist to create detailed, high-fidelity illustrations of characters, environments, and concepts from the DBE universe — for use in books, promotional materials, cover art, and more.
- Create realistic illustrations of DBE characters, scenes, and concepts
- Develop book cover art and promotional illustrations
- Produce detailed concept art for characters, costumes, and environments
- Work collaboratively with writers and directors to realize their vision
- Deliver assets in high-resolution formats for print and digital use
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio of realistic illustration work
- Proficiency in digital painting or traditional media
- Ability to render diverse characters accurately and respectfully
- Understanding of lighting, color, and composition
Nice to Have- Experience with science fiction or Afrofuturist character design
- Background in concept art for games, film, or publishing
